#041 – Random Rant
In this episode I speak a bit about the UFC and a recent matchup between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson & Ryan “Darth” Bader. Superbowl 50, and two movies I recently saw: Spotlight and The Cobbler. I speak about my experience watching Marlon Wayans at Caroline’s on Broadway and also a recent (but old) Comedy special that I saw for the first time from Sebastian Maniscalco which can be seen on Netflix: What’s wrong with you people? I also speak about the importance of getting money out of Politics, I reference Citizens United as well as the Buckley v. Valeo decision that led to it and how important it is that our next President may have to appoint up to three Supreme Court Justices (Note that this episode was recorded prior to the death of Justice Scalia…RIP). Lastly, I also speak about how Adnan Syed’s original Attorney, Cristina Gutierrez was the Bill Cosby of Lawyers.
