Zen Flesh, Zen Bones - compiled by Paul Reps & Nyogen Senzaki

"When eating or drinking, become the taste of the food or drink, and be filled."

Be present.  Fully immerse yourself in the now.  From the most trivial task that you take for granted, to the all encompassing events that submerge your being.  Stop and taste while you chew.  Let your taste buds wake up while you swish around, before quenching your thirst.  Find satisfaction in all that is yours and in none that is not.  When you are me and I am you, our differences are the same.  Strive in perpetuity, to become one.
